The KKPIT KONE SP chassis features a highly innovative modular battery box and ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) mount design, allowing for rapid and precise weight distribution tuning.
This system is engineered for exceptional versatility and quick adjustments:
- Quick Swap Modularity: With just six screws, the battery box and ESC mount can be swiftly interchanged, enabling users to quickly reverse their positions. This instant swapping capability facilitates rapid front-to-rear weight balance adjustments, crucial for adapting to different driving conditions and optimizing vehicle handling.
- Sliding Battery Tray: Further enhancing adjustability, the chassis incorporates a sliding groove design for the battery box. This allows the battery to be moved left and right along the chassis, providing fine-tuned side-to-side weight balance correction.
- Precision Weight Balance: KKPIT’s lab tests confirm the effectiveness of this system. When using a 3660 motor, 140A ESC, and standard 2S battery, swapping the ESC and battery box positions achieves a perfect 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution. This precise balance is vital for maximizing traction, stability, and control.

The suspension system features numerous multi-hole adjustment points and adjustable turnbuckles, allowing for precise tuning of critical vehicle data, including: Toe Angle, Camber Angle, Squat Angle, Suspension Upper Travel Limit, Suspension Lower Travel Limit, Ride Height, Roll Characteristics, Center of Gravity. This extensive adjustability empowers drivers to fine-tune the chassis for optimal performance across any terrain or driving style.
